Matheus Oliveira

Director of Growth & Marketing at Quero Passagem.

I work at the intersection of marketing, product, data, SEO, and user experience. I lead multidisciplinary teams and strategies to uncover growth opportunities, improve digital products, and turn data into better decisions.

Building AuGo

I created AuGo to make hiring pet care services simpler and safer. The platform connects pet owners with verified professionals for dog walking, pet sitting, boarding, daycare, and training. In addition to defining the business vision, I am directly involved in product, brand, technology, operations, and growth decisions. Building AuGo has given me the opportunity to apply my marketplace experience to an industry I have a strong personal connection with.

Taking the lead on Growth and Marketing at Quero Passagem

After more than two years leading experience and product initiatives, I became Director of Growth and Marketing at Quero Passagem. I began bringing acquisition, CRM, SEO, brand, data, product, and experimentation together under a single growth strategy. My work involves increasing the efficiency of our existing channels, developing new revenue streams, and improving retention, repeat purchases, and customer value. I also contribute to the development of new products and to the company’s expansion into a broader travel platform across Latin America.

Building a continuous experimentation operation

I helped make experimentation a recurring practice at Quero Passagem. We organized hypotheses, prioritized opportunities, and brought Marketing, Product, Data, Technology, and Experience teams closer together to test new ideas with greater speed and confidence. Experiments began supporting decisions across acquisition, conversion, CRM, SEO, personalization, retention, and monetization. The goal was not simply to run isolated tests, but to build an operation capable of continuously learning and turning evidence into growth.

Expanding Quero Passagem beyond bus tickets

I contributed to Quero Passagem’s evolution from a bus ticket marketplace into a broader travel platform. This included launching Hotels, developing new transportation verticals, and building products for both consumers and businesses. My role was focused on connecting these new verticals to the company’s strategy, brand, acquisition channels, and existing ecosystem. The challenge was to expand the business consistently, without allowing each new product to grow as an isolated initiative.

Advancing personalization, CRM, and customer relationships

I worked on building a more integrated view of the customer relationship by connecting behavior, purchase history, segmentation, and multiple communication channels. From there, we began evolving personalized campaigns, automated journeys, lifecycle communications, notifications, and experiences tailored to each customer’s context. The objective was to increase relevance, retention, and repeat purchases throughout the travel journey.

Bringing Quero Passagem into the physical world

I contributed to the creation of Quero Passagem’s VIP Lounge at the Tietê Bus Terminal in São Paulo. The project connected the digital product, physical operations, customer relationships, and brand experience within a single service. We developed the app-based access journey, pre-trip communications, and the integrations required to make the experience simple. It became one of the projects that best represented Quero Passagem’s transformation into a brand present across different stages of the journey, rather than only at the moment of purchase.

Improving the company’s core revenue journey

I led the review of the main website and app flows, with the goal of making ticket search, selection, and payment simpler and more efficient. The work combined behavioral analysis, conversion data, customer research, and experimentation. Rather than treating it as a visual redesign, we focused on removing barriers from the journey, improving funnel performance, and building a stronger foundation for future products and features.

Connecting product, experience, and business

I became Director of User Experience during a period of rapid growth at Quero Passagem. I restructured the area and expanded its role in problem definition, opportunity prioritization, and product strategy. The team began working more closely with Product, Data, Technology, and commercial teams. My role also included developing people, improving the quality of our work, and ensuring that decisions remained connected to customer needs and business objectives. I also led the evolution of the Design System alongside Product and Engineering, creating a more consistent and scalable foundation for the company’s growing digital ecosystem.

Preparing the product for international expansion

I contributed to adapting the platform for the company’s international expansion, beginning with the launch of its operation in Mexico. The work went far beyond translating interfaces. We had to adapt the product to cultural differences, payment methods, currencies, transportation companies, purchasing behaviors, and local business rules. This experience gave me a broader understanding of internationalization and of how to balance global scale with the specific needs of each market.

Building Quero Passagem’s product foundations

I joined Quero Passagem to help establish the experience function and strengthen the way the company developed its digital products. I mapped opportunities across the main customer journeys, organized interface standards, and helped establish collaboration processes with Product and Technology. This work created the foundation for the team’s expansion and for the product transformations that followed.

Scaling a platform for service professionals at Leroy Merlin

At Leroy Merlin, I worked on the app and portal used by the company’s service professionals. I helped transform an early MVP into a more complete, stable, and scalable product. I contributed to defining features, priorities, and product direction in partnership with Product, Engineering, and international stakeholders. The solution developed in Brazil also supported the expansion of the initiative into countries such as France, Portugal, and Poland.

Connecting product, marketing, and acquisition

At ITM Channel Marketing, I developed digital solutions for major technology companies. I worked on landing pages, campaigns, emails, and digital experiences designed to support acquisition, lead generation, and conversion. This was an important period for understanding how product, content, SEO, media, data, and technology need to work together to improve marketing performance.

Building loyalty products for different brands

At Bonds Club, I led the creation of white-label applications based on cashback and loyalty programs. Each client had different audiences, needs, and operating models. My role was to understand those differences, translate them into product features, and support the development team throughout implementation. This experience strengthened my understanding of B2B2C products, customer retention, and business models built around loyalty and repeat engagement.

Founding Mundo Novo Apps

I founded Mundo Novo Apps to build applications for small and medium-sized businesses at a time when having a presence in app stores still felt inaccessible to many companies. Over three years, we launched more than 50 applications for Android and iOS. We also developed more complex products in vehicle security, mobility, and customer loyalty. This was where I learned how to sell, acquire clients, organize projects, coordinate design and development, and turn business needs into products that worked in the real world.

Starting at the intersection of technology and product

My first professional experience was in the technology department at FATEC-SP. I worked on maintaining the institutional website and contributed to the development of the application used by students. I also supported internal technical needs and digital initiatives for students and faculty. It was during this period that I realized my interest was not only in technology itself, but in building products that solve real problems.
